About Me

A little about me?  Well, my name is Pereza.  I was born and raised in the great state of Texas until life led me to Oklahoma in 2011. I currently work full time as a Medical Coder.  I have three beautiful children and a wonderful man in my life.  In my spare time, I enjoy reading and genealogy.  Horror movies are my absolute favorite! My all time favorite author is Stephen King.

My passion is reading.  I love to escape reality and lose myself in fiction.  Thus, I am open to reviewing novels and short stories.  Please review my review guidelines below:

·         I am not genre specific, however, I DO NOT like science fiction. I will not reply to Sci-Fi requests.

·         I prefer all material to be in .mobi format.  Short stories I may accept as .pdf.  I do have a program that can convert many forms to .mobi, so feel free to ask. I do not require an ARC copy. I don’t mind purchasing my own copy. I also do not ask for payment.

·         Please contact me via email.  I check it multiple times a day.  I may  not always have access to my blog.  Please include a brief description of your work in your request.

·         I will write an honest review.  It will post reviews to Amazon, Goodreads, my blog and any other site I’m a member of, or a site of your preference.

Please contact me via email to arrange for a review.

I also participate in blog tours, cover reveals, promos and giveaways!

***March 31, 2013: I am currently booked as far as reviews through May. If you don’t mind waiting until June, feel free to contact me for a review. I am, however, still available for Promos, Guest posts and Interviews.***
***May 13, 2013: I am booked up through the month of June for reviews. I will, however, accept short stories.***

  1. I would love it if you’d review my novella, The Case for Brandy. Brandy Ogletree is a knock-off on Pam Grier’s Blaxploitation films, which were cultural favorites in the late ‘60s and throughout the ‘70s. This is my attempt to resurrect Blaxploitation because it was part of my coming-of-age. Although I didn’t achieve it, I wanted a banging body like Pam Grier who is the inspiration for the novella’s cover.
Brandy Ogletree is a knock-off on Pam Grier’s Blaxploitation films, which were cultural favorites in the late ‘60s and throughout the ‘70s. Like Pam Grier’s Blaxploitation characters, the character, Brandy Ogletree, goes after the bad guys despite the specter of losing her job. Along the way, she links up with a former professional basketball player. Is he as dangerous as the number one suspect, or is he a killer?
For once, the globetrotting Alvin Jones, Brandy’s romantic interest, finds himself chasing a woman, and it drives him crazy. He’ll do anything to keep her safe, including propose marriage. But independent Brandy Ogetree has a lot of life to live. Will she jeopardize her future with Alvin by holding onto a career that could kill her?
Attached is the cover, and the novella can be found at http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ESVZPYS

    Thank you,
